The Review:
As far as I can recall, this is the first ever coffee I’ve had that comes from Bolivia and one of the main reasons why I was so intrigued to try it. Starting with the aroma, it was VERY fruity on the nose. I picked up on notes of strawberry for sure, but I also got a faint hint of either peach or mango as well. In terms of taste, I was first blown away by how clean and smooth this roast was. It was very light and bouncy on the tongue. There was a lovely mix of strawberry and kiwi notes that hit upfront. This then fades to a creamy (think cashew) mix of cinnamon and cocoa which has incredible staying power. Overall, I was very impressed with this coffee. So much so, that I’m willing to say that this roast is one of my favourite fruit forward coffees I’ve had. Not just this year, but all time. Well done, Timbertrain, keep up the great work!
